This model uses roasted maple for the neck. The roasted maple has been specially heat treated to not only change the appearance, but also increase the rigidity of the neck, producing a mature, vintage-like sound.
The pickups are two open-type humbuckers without covers.
The rear humbucker is positioned closer to the bridge and is an open-type humbucker without a cover, which allows it to bite into picking better and produce a more aggressive sound.
Not only is it good at handling distortion effects, but it also has a moderate sense of separation, making it well suited to heavy, modern genres.
