[How to use]
STEP 1: After weighing the green beans you want to roast (up to 70g), place the green beans into a glass roasting container.
*We recommend roasting amount of 70g which is highly stable.
STEP 2: Set the glass roasting container into the home roaster body with the power cord plugged in.
*We recommend inserting the power plug directly into a wall outlet.
STEP 3: Align the chaft tray with the unlock mark on the main unit, then slide it clockwise to align it with the lock mark. Place the top lid in line with the arrow mark.
*Please make sure that there is no floating between the chaff tray and the main body, and that the top lid is a fitment type.
STEP 4: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn on the power, then turn the knob to set your desired roasting time. The time can be set between 3 and 25 minutes in 10 second increments. After setting the time, press the button once to start roasting, and when roasting is finished, it will automatically enter cooling mode for 3 to 6 minutes.
・If you want to extend the roasting time...Turn the knob clockwise to increase the roasting time.
- If you want to cool down immediately...Press the button once to enter cooling mode.
・If you want to force quit...Press and hold the button for 2 seconds.
STEP 5: After roasting, gently remove the top lid.
*Please be careful when removing the product as the main unit and roasted beans may be hot even after cooling.
STPE6: Remove the chaff tray. Clean the chaff using the included brush.
STEP 7: Remove the roasting container from the main body and you are done.
【FAQ】
Q. Is the roasting machine made in Japan?
A. We have established manufacturing standards as a Japanese manufacturer, but manufacturing is outsourced to a Chinese factory. Regarding the factory, the Dutch manufacturer Designnest acts as an intermediary to standardize and improve product quality.
Q.Can I roast continuously?
A. Yes, if you have time. The main unit will become quite hot after roasting, so if you are roasting continuously, please allow some time for the main unit to cool down before doing so.
Please note that roasting the product before it has completely cooled down may cause the unit to malfunction.
Q. Is there any problem if I roast it indoors? Should I ventilate it?
A. There is no problem with roasting indoors. The longer the roasting time, the more smoke may be produced, so be sure to roast in a well-ventilated environment, and ventilate if you are concerned about the aroma or smoke.
Q.What is the maximum temperature?
A.The maximum temperature will be 230℃. In accordance with roasting theory, the temperature is gradually raised and controlled by a microcomputer. The temperature profile is as follows.
0-8 minutes 130-150 degrees
8-15 minutes 170-190 degrees
15-19 minutes 180-200 degrees
19-22 minutes 190-210 degrees
22-25 minutes 200-230 degrees
