The Video Mic Go II Helix is ​​a versatile, ultra-lightweight on-camera microphone suitable for a variety of recording styles.

The newly adopted HELIX™ isolation mount developed by RØDE effectively cuts noise from the camera and installation location while stably holding the microphone body. It is smaller and lighter than the old shock mount, making it easier to handle.

In addition to analog output via the 3.5mm TRS terminal for on-camera use, digital output is also possible via the USB-C terminal, so it can be used as a USB microphone* by connecting to a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, or a PC. When connected to the USB-C terminal, in addition to recording operations from various RØDE apps, you can change settings such as input gain, pad, and high-pass filter. In addition, in windy environments, you can use the separately sold windshield WS12 to suppress wind noise, and use HF boost to reduce muffled sound when installed.

When using the USB-C output, you can monitor the microphone audio (which can be turned on/off in the app) and listen to the audio output from the connected device via the 3.5mm TRS terminal.
