Military Watch TYPE 12H White Dial Nylon Green NATO Strap [M.R.M.W.] Men's A-11

A rare white dial with black and red indexes. The area around the windshield marked with an R has a coin edge finish that makes scratches less noticeable. The back cover has a coin edge treatment as well, giving it an excellent side view. A faithful and easy-to-use reproduction of the early white dial type A-11 issued to the U.S. Army Air Corps. This model was distributed to pilots as standard equipment in 1940. Like other A-11s issued around the same time, it initially had a white dial. The white dial is believed to be available until around 1942, after which it was changed to a black dial.
