If using a bathtub, add 4 oz to 3-4 inches of warm water. Soak for 10-20 minutes, adding more warm water as needed. Sitz bath salts can be used 2-3 times a day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Note: The water may cause pain when it first touches the wound, but it will heal quickly. If you have stitches or are concerned about pain, follow the directions of a healthcare professional.
