🍀Korean Najeon Chilgi(Mother-of-pearl lacquerware)🍀
Najeon Chilgi is a traditional Korean lacquerware technique.
It involves cutting thin pieces of mother-of-pearl (from abalone or clam shells) into intricate shapes to create patterns, which are then inlaid onto the surface of objects coated with lacquer.
The finished piece is known for its beautiful, iridescent shine that changes with the light.
