[Dual-purpose lens filter in one] The 49mm ND2-400 & Black Mist 1/4, 2in1 lens filter is a multi-functional filter that combines an ND filter with a light intensity adjustment function and a black mist filter with a soft effect into one. The optical glass is precision ground and polished on both sides to ensure the stability of the molecular structure, which does not affect the sharpness of the telephoto lens and results in high resolution.
[ND filter/light intensity adjustment] The variable ND filter is equipped with a light intensity lock function. Can be adjusted in 9 stepless steps (stops) by turning from minimum ND2 to maximum ND400. Rotating the front frame of the filter not only removes reflections from the water surface and show windows and increases color contrast, but also adjusts the amount of light by operating a lever to reduce the amount of light without affecting the color.
[Soft Effect/Black Mist] Suppresses highlights and lifts dark areas. It captures the soft, diffused light when backlit, suppresses contrast, and adjusts the difference in brightness to create a soft, movie-like atmosphere. By suppressing the highlights on the skin, it becomes smoother, while at the same time maintaining the resolution of the human subject.
[Water-repellent and anti-fouling multi-layer coating] The lens filter uses optical glass, and both sides are treated with 28 layers of nano-coating. The glass surface is coated with an excellent water-repellent, oil-repellent, and anti-scratch coating, so even if water or oil gets on it, it can be easily removed.
[Thin frame & no vignetting] The frame of the filter is made of lightweight aviation aluminum, and the frame thickness is only 7.4mm.The thin frame design prevents vignetting when using the wide-angle and telephoto ends.
