Shinshu Umezu was born in 1981, using small Shinshu Ryukyo plums and a secret, hygienic handmade method passed down through generations in the Achi Village area of Minami Shinshu. This authentic, traditional umezu is brewed with the clean air and pure water of the highlands that connect the Central and Southern Alps.
