■Make your boater hat more casual!
The classic summer hat type is the boater hat. It is characterized by its flat head shape and brim, but we added a brim similar to that of a fedora hat to the popular boater hat. The brim is short, so it doesn't look too cute, it gives a manly impression, and it can also be used as a perfect shade from the sun. It is recommended for those who want to wear it casually without being too structured like a fedora hat.
■Traditional handicrafts with functionality
Barley stalks are mainly used to make straw hats. The material is ``Straw Sanada'', which is made by combining seven pieces of it and woven into a Sanada string shape. Straw allows air to pass through easily, dissipating heat that tends to get trapped inside the hat, and preventing heatstroke. Experience the benefits of traditional straw hats during Japan's humid summers. Of course, it also makes a great gift. Proof of the careful work done by Japanese craftsmen, there is a ``Tanaka hat carefully made'' tag on the inside of the hat.
Traditional masterpiece Tanaka hat store
Tanaka Hatten started making ``Sanada'', which is a braided cord made from wheat, as a side business while operating a farm since around 1888. Hat making began in earnest about 20 years later, around the 30th year of the Meiji era. More than a century later, Tanaka Hatten still preserves good old traditional techniques while still producing products that meet modern needs.Today, Tanaka Hatten is one of the oldest hat manufacturers in Japan, so much so that when you think of Japanese straw hats, you think of Tanaka Hatten.
