Improved image: Haida CPL filters reduce reflections and glare by blocking polarized light due to reflections from non-metallic surfaces. Polarizing filters filter this directionally polarized light by placing it perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing much of this light to be absorbed. This significantly reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases the saturation of skies and foliage.
Ultra Slim: Frame depth is 5.2mm. The glass has 10 layers of anti-reflective coating to prevent internal ghosting and reflections. These coatings also provide greater protection to the filter substrate and help keep it cleaner for longer than uncoated filters.
Circular polarizers: Circular polarizers are ideal for use in digital cameras and autofocus lenses. Linear polarizers often interfere with automatic exposure and focus functions. 2.5x filter factor reduces exposure by 1.3 stops.
Optical Glass: This polarizing filter is constructed of optical glass for clarity and color fidelity, and features an aluminum alloy filter ring that can be rotated to adjust the strength of the polarizing effect.
Easy to install: Rotate the filter ring to adjust the strength of the polarization effect. The strongest effect is obtained when used at a 90 degree angle from the sun. 82mm front filter thread allows use with other filters. The knurling on the top provides a more textured grip when attaching or removing it from the lens.
