How to Use
Use as directed by your doctor.
Rinse the syringe with water after use.
Use normal water, such as body temperature. Never use cold water.
Have your child sit up and place a small basin under their ear to catch the running water. Tilt their head slightly toward the ear for irrigation.
Gently pull the ear back and downward to expose the ear canal. The syringe tip should be pointed slightly upward toward the side of the ear canal, not straight back toward the eardrum. Make sure the syringe tip does not touch or touch the ear canal.
Gently squeeze the contents out to the side of the ear canal. Never force the syringe. Note: When irrigating the ear canal, the syringe tip should not obstruct the flow of water out of the ear canal.
Rinse the syringe thoroughly with normal water. Shake off any excess water and allow to air dry. Caution
If your child experiences dizziness, discontinue use. Do not resume irrigation without consulting a doctor. Do not irrigate the ear if the eardrum is perforated or if there is discharge, bleeding, pain, or irritation.
