[1 Bath Towel] Made in Japan (Senshu Towel) Weight: 260g (per towel) Size: Approx. 60 x 120cm (per towel) Material: 100% Cotton
[100% organic cotton towels that are gentle on both your skin and the environment] These towels are made from 100% organic cotton harvested in India. Furthermore, the pile (loop) that touches your skin is made from combed cotton yarn, which has had the short fibers removed, resulting in a smooth feel. Removing the short fibers also reduces shedding during washing.
[No more residue left behind] After weaving, the fabric is washed to remove oils, impurities, and starch from the cotton, resulting in excellent absorbency and a zero-waste feel right from the start. *Please avoid using fabric softener as it reduces absorbency.
[Attention to Detail] The towels are carefully woven without glue on looms specifically designed for organic cotton towels at Nitta Towel's own factory in Izumisano, Osaka Prefecture. Impurities and oils are broken down and the towels are then dyed using enzyme refinement. The fabric softener used in the towels is naturally derived from soy milk isoflavones. Because the name tag may come into contact with the skin, we used 100% cotton instead of polyester, which would normally be used.
[Muko Towels that are kind to your skin and the environment] Muko Towels (= glue-free towels) are made without using glue in the manufacturing process. While regular towels cannot be woven without coating the cotton thread with glue, Nitta Towels can be woven without glue. By eliminating this step, the excellent absorbency and texture of cotton is maintained, resulting in a softer texture than regular towels.
